The Jr. Firefighter Combat Challenge is open to kids ages 5-12 years old. This first-time event is intended to be realistic and somewhat of a challenge. All kids will be able to complete the challenge either on their own or with a firefighter working beside them to make this a positive experience.

The challenge will consist of pulling a charged hose line and spraying water, climbing through an inflatable obstacle course, simulated chopping station, stop, drop and roll as well as a victim rescue.

This Jr. Firefighter Combat Challenge is a scaled-down version of what your Indian River County Firefighters must complete each year. (Unfortunately, the firefighters do not get to use the inflatable obstacle course during their combat challenge).
